We were talking with the engineers at Nebraska Educational Television who rebroadcast PBS as part of their disaster recovery system. We were rebuilding their monitoring system with Mosaic and one of the challenges was the lack of time for training the PBS engineers, especially as they’re swapping in new equipment as part of this whole rebuild. So, one of the nice things about Mosaic is how it abstracts all of the system so that the panels they were using before still work now.  The operators don’t even have visability or knowledge about the equipment changes underneath. They just keep working as they always did, even though the station rebuild meant all new equipment. That’s efficiency!

  • Disaster recovery automation and control
  • Change your hardware system and keep your existing automation
  • No need to retrain operators on new equipment because your MNC control system stays the same even when you get new gear.
